A lot of two WWI era military medals. First. A British silver commemorative medal, 1914-1920. The obverse depicts a portrait of George V. The reverse depicts St. George on horseback to the right, trampling on the shield of the defeated union, with the dates 1914 and 1918 on the sides. Moire ribbon in orange with blue, black and white stripes. Second. Bavaria Merenti Order of Military Merit, 3rd Class with Swords. Crowned Maltese cross with crossed swords. The obverse of the center medallion has a crowned L cipher for the founder King Ludwig II and the word Merenti. The reverse features a Bavarian lion with the date of founding, 1866.
