A lot of two Russian Soviet Excellent Pontooner badges in red and blue enamel. The item is a chest decoration instituted in the USSR on April 5, 1943, to recognize enlisted men and junior officers who distinguished themselves in constructing pontoon bridges and performing other engineering corps tasks during the Second World War. The badge was awarded for outstanding professional achievement, courage, and resourcefulness in combat. Soviet Awards and Memorabilia for Collectors.
