Alexey Shishov, Russian, 1904 to 1988, an oil painting on canvas depicting a pastoral rural landscape. Signed lower right. Additionally inscribed on the backside. Provenance: Estate of Eric Jansson, Roswell, Georgia. Alexei Alexandrovich Shishov was also an artist and a member of the USSR Union of Artists. He specialized in painting, graphics, and portraiture. He designed books, exhibitions, and museums, and taught at art studios. Russian Fine Art, Rural Landscape Oil Paintings, and Collectibles. One of a kind artwork.
