Attributed David Burliuk, Russian-American, 1882 to 1967, watercolor and gouache on paper painting. The artwork depicts a young couple by a stream. Signed in the lower right. Ca. 1940s. Unframed. Provenance: Estate of Eric Jansson, Roswell, Georgia. David Burliuk has been described as the father of Russian Futurism. He emigrated to the US in 1922 where he also became a a striking figure of artistic life. Collectible Mid Century Figurative Graphic Art.
