Attributed to Georgy Nissky, Russian, 1903 to 1987, oil on canvas painting. The artwork depicts two men playing chess. Signed in the upper right. Undated. Unframed. Provenance: Estate of Eric Jansson, Roswell, Georgia. Georgy Nissky was a Soviet painter, student of Robert Falk. He was also largely influenced by the style of Aleksandr Deyneka. Nissky was titled Peoples Artist of the RSFSR in 1965. Collectible Fine Art, Genre Painting.
