Richard Bove, American, 1920 to 2020, an oil painting on canvas depicting a dynamic figurative scene rendered in the distinctive postwar modernist style. Inscribed to the label mounted on the reverse. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Richard Bove studied at the Brooklyn Academy of Fine Arts and at the Pratt Institute.
