Oil on canvas painting signed Francesco Lazzaro Guardi, 1712 to 1793, an Italian artist who is considered one of the last practitioners of the classic Venetian school of painting. Signed lower right. The artwork features The Bucentaur Returns to the Pier at the Doges Palace, or The Doge of Venice Departs for the Festival of the Betrothal of Venice to the Adriatic Sea painting originally created c.1730 by the Italian artist Canaletto.
