Description

An antique, 19th century Russian silver mounted agate hand seal. The cylindrical seal made of carved purple and white agate features a handle with a silver figurine of an elephant mounted to it. The elephants eyes and back are set with gemstones. The surface of the seal has applied images of torches and wreaths. Marked with 88 silver standard and the makers mark on the silver parts. Overall good vintage condition. Signs of wear and age. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
