A vintage French Cheval dOrient porcelain ashtray by Hermes. Rectangular piece with two cigarette holders and transfer-printed Cheval dOrient decoration with a red border and flower motifs. Marked on the bottom. The Cheval dOrient collection pays tribute to Hermes equestrian heritage, evoking the silk caravans and conviviality of the Orient, inspired by 15th- and 16th-century Persian miniatures.
