An engraving from the 18th century, consisting of two scenes dedicated to the life and traditions of the peoples of Tartary. A Tartar Camp in Motion depicts nomadic life, including large yurts set on carts. The Ceremony of Blessing the Horses demonstrates a religious or traditional ritual involving animals. Each scene is inscribed in the print in the lower part. The engraving was created by John Harris for the publication Navigantium atque Itinerantium Bibliotheca; A compleat collection of voyages and travels.
