Description

A West African Baule people hand carved wooden mask from Ivory Coast. The Baule people are known for their intricate and expressive masks, which are often used in traditional ceremonies and rituals. The mask displays a stylized human face, exhibiting elongated features and a prominent nose. The eyes are subtly carved. The top of the mask includes an intricate arrangement of curved horns and decorative motifs, hinting at the spiritual and symbolic significance of the mask.
