Anatoliy Antonchenko (Russian, 1912-1977) original Soviet poster, Visit the U.S.S.R., depicting a Soviet Sputnik Satellites - Russian Antonov Aircraft. Published by Vneshtorgizdat, 1958. Marked in print lower right and left. Antonchenko was a very productive poster artist. In the field of political propaganda, his main specialty was creating posters for Soviet holidays and to celebrate important Soviet achievements. Not surprisingly, many of his posters of late 1950s and early 1960s include references to the space exploration topic.
