A Russian Orthodox hand-painted on wood panel icon of Akhtyrskaya Mother of God. The iconography of the Akhtyrskaya icon goes back to the samples of Italian-Greek art. On it is a half-length image of the Most Holy Theotokos with her hands folded on her chest in prayer. To her left is the Lord Jesus Christ crucified on the cross of Calvary. Marked upper to the center. Titled lower right. Circa: the 19th century.
