Lev Grigorievich Brodaty (Russian, 1889-1954) illustration ink painting on paper depicting two caricature scenes with two frightened soldiers at the edge of the forest in the upper part, and two fleeing soldiers and a hare peeking out from the bushes in the lower part. Signed by the artist in the Cyrillic, L. B., and dated, 1941, lower left. Numbered in green pencil, 9, on verso. Titled and additionally signed in pencil in Armenian, on verso. Lev Brodaty, a Soviet graphic artist, illustrator, poster artist, cartoonist.
