A pair of artistic ceramic vases with turquoise brown and blue glaze by Lea Halpern (Dutch, American, 1901-1985). Each signed by the artist, L. H., and numbered, 454, 722, on the bottom. Lea Halpern was known as the van Gogh of potters, she experimented with glazes, special effects, and innovative pigments. Provenance: The William Doyle, lot # 318. Please refer to the original paper stickers.
