An exquisitely decorated small Japanese Satsuma vase of footed form with waisted neck. A delicate colored ground and characteristically crackled transparent glaze. Finely overpainted with figural panels of garden scenes with kimono-clad female groups on both sides. Detailed stylized floral and foliate painted decorations to borders and to shoulder. Signed on bottom. Circa: the late 19th century.
