Lot 18 - A GROUP PORTRAIT ETCHING BY MISHA BORISOFF

Misha Borisoff (Russian and American, b. 1950) group portrait etching. Signed lower left by the artist and numbered. Framed with mount. Misha Borisoff is the only child of Serge Borisoff who was a famous architect and professor at the prestigious Stroganov Moscow High University of Art. By 1967 he entered higher education at the High University of Art where he fine-tuned his brand of Russian cubism, relying heavily on luminescence. Misha started to work as an artist while he was still at the academy and he had his first exhibition in 1970 followed by a long succession of exhibitions in France, Romania, Estonia, Finland, Holland, Germany, and England.
