Description
A lot of six Victorian era collectible German novelty fairing porcelain pig figurines including pigs in various hiding or sitting in purses, basket or pocket scenes. They were prizes or trinkets when the large fairs were in their heyday. All figurines are painted in the same green and peachy pink colors for the pigs and adorned with gilding and red accents in the shape of a wax seal. One item is titled with engraving, Pig in a Poke Just Off to Market. Several items are stamped on the bottom. Circa: 1850s-1900s. German porcelain figurines and decor collectibles.
