Tony Evans, 1942-2009, American ceramist. A vintage handmade vase created by Evans Ceramics Inc. in Raku technique. Raku is an ancient Japanese method of firing pottery and a philosophy according to which imperfections made in the process are signs of aesthetical uniqueness. Spherical shape with an accentuated neck, an abstract glaze design in blue, white, and purple. Signed on the bottom, numbered 173. Vintage American Minimalist Pottery For Interior Design.
