Description
An antique German WWI regimental beer stein painted with military scenes, Munich, circa 1906. Military compositions are accompanied by bravura phrases in German. Bottom center - the image of Prince Leopold of Bavaria. The top of the pewter lid is decorated with voluminous hexagonal glass imitating a faceted gemstone. Under the glass is a scene depicting a cavalryman. The finger resting on the lid is made in the form of a Bavarian lion standing on its hind legs.
