Description
A monotype collage and an original work by Vagrich Bakhchanyan, Russian Soviet, Armenian, American, 1938 to 2009. The artwork depicts a caricature illustration with Nazi swastika insignia and quoting the greatest oil painting on canvas, Alyonushka, by Viktor Vasnetsov. Signed and dated 1972 and 2007 in pencil lower right. Vagrich Bakhchanyan, graphic artist, writer, book artist, author of objects and performances, defined himself as an artist of the word.
