A collection of antique documents belonging to Pierre Jean Francois Auguste Romestin, a commandant of artillery of the 7th Regiment of Chevaliers of Saint Louis, a member of the Legion of Honor and the Order of Saint Ferdinand of Spain. An antique Royal Order of the Legion of Honor certificate signed by Louis XVIII, King of France dated 1828. An antique French Empire certificate from the Secretary of Military Affairs issued in the name of Pierre Romestin and dated 1858. A printed antique order of the precautions to be learned to maintain good health in Africa, dated 1830s.
