An antique 1880s Pellin Colorimeter - Fluid Microscope. This instrument is used to measure the absorbance of particular wavelengths of light by a specific solution and was originally developed in 1870 by Jules Duboscq. Constructed of black enameled brass with heavy cast iron base. Hallmark on the back. Comes together with a set of supplies, such as light bulbs, a set of keys, wires, etc. Rare Collectible Antiques.
