An oil on canvas abstract painting, circa 1920, attributed to Vladimir Yakovlev, Russian, Soviet, 1934 to 1998. Signed in the Cyrillic lower left: Yakovlev. Un-stretched, unframed. Provenance: Kaminski Auctions, 06.26.2010, Lot 6340. Vladimir Igorevich Yakovlev was a Russian nonconformist artist, one of the most prominent representatives of the generation of the Sixties and unofficial Moscow art.
