The artwork is a medallion portrait of a woman, probably Maria Yakunchikova-Weber, 1870-1902, Russian painter and the artist's friend. Signed in the lower part of the artwork and on the plate on the frame. Provenance: Collection of V. Frolov, St. Petersburg; private collection, USA. Black mat, golden frame.
