Attributed to Joseph Amadeus Fleck, 1892-1977, American painter and muralist. Oil on board painting, a portrait of an Indian chief. The artwork was probably executed in Taos, Mexico, a city with a large Native American population where the artist had resided for a long time. Signed in the lower right. Wooden frame. American Regionalism, Fine Art For Collectors.
