A very high quality Russian Faberge style letter opener knife with a polished jade blade, a lilac guilloche enamel handle set with an ovoid jade on the top and decorated with gilt silver mounts and silver overlays, one depicting a cypher of emperor Alexander III set with diamonds and other depicting a double headed Imperial eagle covered with white enamel. Hallmarked with an 88th silver standard next to a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right and other Russian hallmarks.
