Description

A traditional Russian drinking vessel or kovsh, made of silver with a globular body, a curved handle and a gilded interior. The exterior is adorned with winding lines and six natural amethyst cabochons. Marked on the bottom with an 88th silver standard next to a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the left, a double headed Imperial eagle and other Russian hallmarks.
