Description
A very nice traditional Russian gilt silver kovsh modeled as a bird with an admirable exterior with stylized floral and geometric pan Slavic motifs made using the cloisonne enamel technique in various shades of blue, pink, and yellow. The semi precious burgundy cabochons are set on the top of the head and in place of the eyes. Marked on the bottom with 84 silver standard next to a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right and the maker's Cyrillic initials: FR. Decorative Art, Russian Silver Antiques, And Collectibles.
