An antique German army saber featuring a steel D grip handle with black bakelite and wire wrapping. A blade is etched with the Bavarian motto In Treue Fest, which means steadfast in loyalty, or firm in fidelity. Accompanied with a scabbard. Circa the late 19th or the early 20th century.
