An antique Chinese long blue silk satin handmade womens robe with colorful embroidery from the late Qing dynasty. The robe is all hand embroidered with designs of flowers, using multicolor threads. Dark borders with fine embroidery run along the collar, the cuffs, front and back. Black piping is used along the front seam, as well as to create buttons and hooks to secure the robe.
