Description
A large rounded cloisonne enamel vase fully covered with a floral pattern. Red, dark blue, and green color palette. Two transfer-printed ceramic medallions are inserted on the sides of the piece. The first depicts children playing with snowballs, signed Alas! Poor Bruin on the bottom. The second represents a bear hunting scene. Both medallions are examples of F. & R. Pratt & Co. production, a Staffordshire pottery that used popular engravings for pot lids. The item comes with a figurative wooden stand. Collectible Home Decor Items.
