A lot of four 1940s American Newsmap posters. The maps date back to May 1944, July, August, and November 1945. Issue topics: Armed Forces Radio Service, Home Front Production, Yanks Land on Japan, Strategic Concept - Job Now. From 1942 until 1946, the US Army published the weekly Newsmaps, double-sided posters that were meant to inform the military on the progress of the war via maps, photographs, and short news snippets.
