A Modern medium size artistic hand carved and turned wood bowl vase by Mark Lindquist, American, born 1949. The bowl is hand carved from a spalted maple burl. The bowl is signed, dated 1977 and inscribed on the bottom. Mark Lindquist is an American sculptor in wood, artist, author, and photographer. Lindquist is a major figure in the redirection and resurgence of woodturning in the United States beginning in the early 1970s.
