Description
A mid century glazed stoneware figurine depicting a resting foal, made by Knud Kyhn for Royal Copenhagen and dated from the 1950s. Marked with green and blue ink marks, number 21516 and a Knud Kyhn incised mark, on the bottom. Royal Copenhagen is the Danish Royal Porcelain Manufactory. Founded on May 1, 1775 under the patronage of Queen Juliana Maria, the sixth court porcelain manufactory in Europe.
