Description
A pair of Danish Royal Copenhagen glazed porcelain figurines. The figurines depict animals, a horse, and an elephant. Modeled by Jais Nielsen, Dannish, 1885 to 1961. The figurines are covered with enamel in a celadon shade. Marked with a factory stamp, and numbered on the bottom. Johannes Knud Ove Jais Nielsen was a Danish painter, designer and ceramist, best known for the religious figure groups that he designed for the Royal Copenhagen pottery.
