An antique late 19th-century Rococo Revival porcelain figurine by Unterweissbach, a German manufacture established in 1882. The figure represents a couple playing the game of chess. The piece is hand-painted and has gilt accents. The clothes of the characters are partly made of lace. Crowned hallmark Unterweissbach Germany is on the bottom of the item.
