A very rare and fine continental faience painted earthenware charger, likely from Creil-Montereau. The charger depicts a lovely female in Spanish attire. The background around the portrait is done with a layer of small glass balls that give an effect between mosaic and tapestry. Signed: Pages, on the lower right. Carries an early 20th century paper label verso. Antique European Art Nouveau Tableware And Serveware, Art Platters And Serving Trays For Collectors.
