An antique Chinese Meiji era lidded enamel metal ginger jar. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. The exterior of the ware is enameled with polychrome lotus flowers, foliage and scrollwork patterns made in the Champleve technique. The lid is adorned with a gilt brass figurine made in the shape of a Foo dog on the top. Unmarked.
