Description

A Japanese porcelain vase of rounded shape with pronounced neck. Late Meiji period, before 1912. The hand-painted body depicts human figures against the mountain landscape with gilt accents. Hieroglyphical hallmark on the bottom. Satsuma ware is a type of Japanese pottery which originated in Satsuma Province, since the 19th century it was mainly produced for Western export and therefore elaborately decorated. Collectible Oriental Japanese Porcelain Decor.

Overall good antique condition. Signs of wear and Age. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
