Description

An antique French Empire gilt bronze mantel clock representing the allegory of music. The clock itself comes on top of a very richly decorated rectangular base with a relief telling a knights story. On top of the base, there are two large figurines holding musical instruments with a dial between. The dial with black Roman numerals is surmounted with scores and a lyre.
