An antique French Rococo decorated polychrome enamel bronze casket box featuring side panels painted with charming landscape motives and a hinged lid decorated with the image of a courting couple after Jean Honore Fragonard. The enameled jewelry box is supported by a casted decorative bronze mounting with four curved feet that are richly decorated with volutes and foliage. The interior retains the original silk lining.
