Description

An antique Chinese white ceramic plate. Late Qing Dynasty, before 1912. The central part of the piece depicts a typical decorative pattern, five bats personifying blessings and a longevity symbol. The sides of the piece are decorated with flowers. Ornamental rims. Underglaze hieroglyphical inscription on the bottom: Yongzheng Emperor of the Great Qing Dynasty, signifying that the item was made in the royal workshops. Chinese Emperor Yongzheng, 1678 to 1735, was known for his support for the development of the porcelain and ceramic industry. Collectible Oriental Asian Tableware And Decor.
