Conrad Freitag, American, 1843 to 1894, a marine watercolor painting on paper depicting people on the seashore watching a ship. Singed by the artist and dated 1876 lower left. Matted and framed. Conrad Freitag was a German American marine artist from Brooklyn, New York. He was best known for his portraits of New York pilot boats.
