Oil on canvas painting by Alfred Bentley, 1879 to 1923, an English painter and printmaker, a close friend of Malcolm Osborne. The artwork depicts a view of a medieval town quarter with a gothic church in the backside, the Notre Dame Cathedral is Caudebec-en-Caux, Normandy, France. Early 20th century. Signed by the artist in the lower left. The piece comes with a Sulis Fine Art authenticity certificate. Golden frame. Collectible Classic European Painting, City Landscape Art.
