A vintage illustrated album titled The year 1812. Borodino Panorama published in Russian by the Fine Arts Publishers in Moscow in 1982. The Battle of Borodino took place near the village of Borodino on 7 September during Napoleons invasion of Russia. A huge panorama representing the battle was painted by Franz Roubaud for the centenary of Borodino in 1912 and installed on the Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow to mark the 150th anniversary of the event.
