A fine porcelain Art Deco figurine modeled as a deer with a faun made by Zsolnay in Hungary. Beautifully hand painted and marked to the bottom. Circa 1980. Note: Zsolnay, or formally Zsolnay Porcelanmanufaktúra Zrt is a Hungarian manufacturer of porcelain, tiles, and stoneware. The company introduced the eosin glazing process and pyrogranite ceramics. The Zsolnay factory was established by Miklos Zsolnay in Pecs, Hungary, to produce stoneware and other ceramics in 1853.
