Lot 541 - WWII NAZI GERMAN WAFFEN SS BOKER SOLINGEN DAGGER

A WWII Nazi German Waffen SS dagger. The blade is constructed of nickel silver plated metal and engraved with a motto in German, My Honor Is Loyalty. The ricasso has a makers mark reading Boker, Solingen, along with the companys logo. The blade fits neatly through the upper crossguard, itself constructed of plated zinc, which in turn sits flush with the wooden handle. The obverse of the wooden handle bears a metallic NSDAP Party Eagle emblem fitted within the wood, featuring an eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika.
