A large antique Japanese Meiji period enamel over brass vase. The vase has an amphora shaped body and a narrow neck. The ware is enameled with a polychrome image of a bird in blossoming flowers made in the Cloisonne technique on black ground. Unmarked. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century.
