An antique Japanese, late Meiji era, footed enamel over brass tray. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. The tray is adorned with polychrome images of blossoming flowers and butterflies on turquoise ground made in the Cloisonne technique. The border is adorned with geometrical and foliage motifs made in the same technique. The backside features a wavy pattern on turquoise ground made in the Cloisonne technique.
